Default syntheic oil to regular oil

ok i tried the royal purple oil in my gsr and after switching to syntheic oil my car seems to idle strange after ward. can i switch back to regular oil. the reason i ask is b/c i have heard once you use syntheic its not good to switch back. can i switch back or will it cause problems?

Yes, you can switch back. However, assuming you're using the proper viscosity, there is no reason why the Royal Purple should adversely affect your idle.

You can switch back and forth between synthetic oil and conventional oil without any problems. However, when you're using conventional oil, you won't get the benefits of synthetic oil (better resistance to breakdown when hot, better flow characteristics when cold).

The type of oil has nothing to do with your idle.

ya it doesnt seem like oil would cause it to run rough. maybe just something else is starting to mess up the idle. havent had the time to trouble shoot it yet being im always at work it seems. im gonna trouble shoot some tomorrow being i have a day off and it suppose to be nice and warm. i hate the cold weather lol
