Mine doesn't have that... I'm OBD2... i think you're talking about the tube that goes to the Evap canister...

Does it always do that or just recently? The gas tank is almost on E and may be sucking in air causing a shudder. Make sure your battery is charge well and grounds are good. You can also check your IAC valve.

Doesnt seem like a vac leak or it would do it all the time. The gas may be possible. I would get a couple more gallons of fresh gash to put in it. It seems like the IACV because its kicking the valve open and its failing causing it to idle like that and then back off. Usually you will find those valves stuck open and your car will idle like that all the time...

Did you pull any engine codes?

Tt always does that no matter what level of gas I have, but what i noticed is if I trigger anything to cause the check engine light to come on it won't have the idle problem. My battery one month old and I have had my alternator checked. It's at 14.2-4 when charging, and I've also added more grounds. I've cleaned my IACV off the car and on the car but still didn't make a difference

Yeah, I got gas right after the vid. I may change my IACV to another one that I have laying around. My check engine light is off. Thanks guys for the replies! Hopefully someone is having this problem and can use my thread if I ever find the problem.

When your CEL comes on it doesn't have a problem? Try resetting the ECU, pull either the negative terminal or find the ECU fuse and back up fuse in the engine compartment. Do that for about 10 minutes, reconnect then start the car and let it idle for 10 minutes with out touching anything then turn it off.

When I reset the ecu the problem comes back. There is no idle problem as long as the MIL is on.

Those codes seem like they could be related to the problem... I'm not sure exactly how, but that seems pretty relavent

you really need to check timing. Pull the rotor cap and inspect for problems. Have you read your plugs to see whats going on with them? I would say you ecu is running off flag when it sees those codes.

How about that fuel pump? Fuel pumps can run and still be bad. Often times pumps can have a bad router causing the pump to not flow the needed amount to run properly but run.

the car idles perfect when the MIL is on for those two codes... I'll recheck my timing, cap and rotor and plugs... i have a fuel pressure guage and the fuel pressure doesn't seem to drop or change when the idle acts up

I would recheck the timming but this is a weired problem... Once again, the timing problem is usually contant when off the mark. I'm starting to think is something else. Do you have a tune? I swear that ecu is running off a different map when it finds those two mils. We just need to figure out how you are getting the problem.

Do you get the MIL as soon as you start driving? or you have to create the codes yourself?

are you turning on any loads when this happens? Does the ac cycle when this happens? Thats kinda strange. You said to your obd2, thats awsome because you can monitor your o2 voltage readings and closed and open operation. Can you access a computer to check theses? Can you check your freeze frame date when this code sets? It would tell you everything you need to find your problem. I dont think I have every seen a bad o2 sensor cause this problem. I don't think this is related to this.

When that happens also, does the cooling fan cycling on? Maybe those codes are being set due to the extreme drop in engine speed.

the codes pop up on it's own... I'm using a stock p75-a04 so I can't monitor or read any data.. i rarely use a/c, especially in this weather

I dont think you understood what i was saying, your obd 2 your have a 16 pin connector to be able to monitor your o2 sensor status and operation. I wasnt asking if you rarely use your ac, iam asking was the ac compressor cycling on? Iam guessing your trying to say is no your ac was off at the time of the video or the time it happens. Iam trying to help you.

and when you say stock p75 are you saying that this is the right ecu for this car?

I don't think my compressor is cycling because I don't hear the clutch engage/disengage. yeah, my ecu is unmodified and i forgot to tell you that I have a B18b...
