Default Sour smell from exhaust?

Been noticing a sour'ish smell from the exhaust. Not loosing any coolant, not burning any oil, plugs look fine, no smoke. Not using a cat and resonator is only a few months old so I don't think it went bad. I don't think it ever smelt this way before.

What could it be?

I can't really smell it from the engine bay, just through the exhaust.

then it could b leaking out of the head gasket into the block. u could drive around and just keep tabs on ur antifreeze, but having a blown head gasket and driving around for very long isn't recommended.

There's no liquid coming out of my exhaust and not loosing any coolant. Head gasket was done ~500 miles ago with arp head studs.

I agree the only thing close to a sour smell is coolant. However i usually think it is a sweet smell like french toast and syrup...mmm.

It could be like said before it is burning off the exhaust somewhere. Or if you are blowing white smoke then you are burning it. Keep and eye on the fluid level.

Did it do this as soon as you got rid of the cat, cause not having a cat makes it smell bad or having a gutted cat

have a buddy go behind you and do a few WOT to see is there is anything. also it could be so small of a leak that its just giving you a smell and nothing else.
