Some Questions About My New Intefra....
Hi, I just got a 1998 Acura Integra LS. I am looking for some performance upgrades. This is my first car, I just turned 15, and bought this car with my own money. What are some basic, cheap, performance upgrades with noticable power?
Thanks Ryan.

Nope, LS comes as non-vtec, GSR and Type R's have vtec.
What color is that? Looks real nice.
And how much did you get it for?

That my firend is know as an LS engine also found on the RS and GS models...By a B16 head, and have a good known shop do an LS Vtec set up for you...That should be be one of the best bangs for the buck...The next option would be, to go LS turbo, and swap that tranny to an SIR-G with LSD...

i would have to disagree with your statement on performance wise it sucks.... a nlittle too vague for me
on another note, is that car a salvage title??? if so due to what?? other than that it looks clean and i would hold on for those steelies for winter season if you get snow or what not

Looks like the front end might be slightly mis-aligned, is there an accident you know of in the past?
Otherwise looks great, nice drop.

That was a steal man!! How many miles are on the car?
I think it depends on what you want to spend on upgrades. You can do intake/headers/echaust and gaina few HP, or do a supercharger or turbo for 220-250hp, but it will cost you a few grand.

For some parts you might want to look into intake or exhaust(if you dont have any yet) i couldnt see the rear of the car. those are pretty basic and rather cheap since you are just starting out. car looks nice tho. congrats on your first car man.

not true on the performance part.
I'm running a b18b engine, 2000 sir tranny, jun 10lb flywheel, ctr N1 crank pulley, ACL rod bearings and new Hastings piston rings with a 1-layer head-gasket and the engine pulls really great.
Now to squeeze a lot of power out of the engine is more difficult then your usual b16/b18c but it's possible. With getting some aggressive cams, bump up the compression, do some transmission work(get a b16 tranny)! the car will move. A great setup would be the b18b, 11:1 pistons, new rings + bearings, some lumpy cams, valvetrain, light crank pulley and flywheel, custom setup ITB's and a short gear transmission with a nice final drive for accelerated purposes
The 95 Integra has a curb weight of (kg)1,245 --> 2744.76LBS
My 94 civic coupe si has a curb weight of (kg)1055.06 ----> 2326 lbs
so I'm 400lbs lighter stock to stock. Remove PS/AC and put in a manual steering rack with lighten up the car a considerable amount. The car has a good base, and the engine has a great potential, if you do infact know how to make it accelerate and put out power

You're an idiot, I bet you'd say the Gsr(b18c) is Godly right?
And to the OP, don't mod the car, you're only 15, get use to it, know everything about it,
Maybe take some type of driving/autocross classes, then research about what You want later on.
That also looks like the car they had for sale on jdmshit.com ?

Since you are 15, Id just start with some basic bolt ons like I did. Im also 16, but for now I am doing only bolt ons, then after, im probably gonna get anotehr car to fix up and put better stuff other then bolt ons, but rght now, the car is fast, like the other guy said put intake and exhaust for now, drive it around, and slowly build the car up
