Shift linkage pin size?
Lost the shift linkage pin somewhere. Anyone know the size of the pin to pick one up from a hardware store, or if i could get the part from a normal Honda dealer? It's a GSR motor, B18A trans in a CRX.

Pretty sure that's not something you can get from a hardware store. But the size of it is 8x20mm.

Re: Shift linkage pin size?
sure can, Civics use the same spring pin. Just ask for one for any 92-95 Civic manual transmission. It's even the same part number.
Actually just ask for the part number itself. 94305-80222 only about $1 at most places online, dealer might charge $2 or more if they have don't have it in stock and have to order it. In that case you might as well order it yourself.
If you buy something from a hardware store, please post a pic of it before you install it. The spring pin for Honda transmissions is somewhat of a specialized part, with tapered ends to facilitate installing and removing the pin.

Re: Shift linkage pin size?
Yeah you pretty much have to get the exact size. Don't try to jam a standard-size pin in there. It'll almost certainly be either too small (may fall out) or will be too big and you could end up damaging the shifter rod inside the transmission when you try to hammer the pin in there.
