Default Royal Purple into tranny?

Hey guys, i'm going to try some royal purple in my tranny since this conventional 10w-30 is sucking. I went to the autoparts store and only had Royal Purple Syncromesh 75w-90 oil for tranny. So I picked up the Royal Purple full synthetic 10w-30 oil for engine. Is it okay to use this? The manual says to use 10w30 oil for tranny.

Really? Mine doesn't say that at all. I think i might return the royal purple and get 1 quart of honda MTF and 1 quart of pennzoil syncromesh. Sounds like a plan

I don't like the idea of mixing. Just stick to one kind.

I'm using Pennzoil Synchromesh and it has worked great.

I have been using Pennzoil 10w30 and then Pennzoil Synchromesh since the car was new, [94 Integra] engine and transmission have also been treated with Bi-Tron additive.

Will stick with Pennzoil Synchromesh for transmission but will try Pennzoil High Mileage on the next change. 94

Hows the pennzoil syncromesh? Are you using full syncromesh or a mix? I'm a little torn with what fluid to put it. I want to try some sort of syncromesh or full synthetic oil , tranny seems too rough. I know it isnt a permanent fix but any extra smoothness will help.
