So as much as I want to get this thing looking good, I have an appointment set to get it tuned with my cams in on Sept 1. I'm going to be in Chicago all next week so I decided I should get started on this since my timing tensioner bolt head was stripped... Took about 2 minutes to get the bolt out with the right tools

That's as far as I've gotten. I stopped so I could clean my new cams up (surface rust ) and pick up some 98+ headlights and ordered a new timing tensioner bolt today. Hopefully more updates to come.

You can have it, I was just going to scrap the aluminum... I think there's a shop on top of radio hill. Just google it.

Also, about how much do you think this project has cost you? including buying it back from the insurance company?

I'm actually getting it tuned in Columbus. I really wanted to take it to Innovative but it's so hard to schedule these things with a car you shouldn't be driving. Not to mention the really long drive...

I'm really not sure to be honest, I'd day maybe $5000? I bought a lot of used parts this time around vs all new

Wow your motor and tranny weren't built then someone swapped a built motor and tranny?! that's awesome! (I think) Do you have a build thread??

How much were you trying to sell it for? It seems like you have gone to hell and back getting this thing they way it is! Not to mention the time you have spent.

I was looking for 5600 bottom dollar but after I fix the exterior up and after the installation of the new cams I'm going to be looking for a little more

Some of you won't like this update but I've always liked the 98+ front end so I decided to grab one. I found the lights locally and got the bumper off ebay. The bumper looks like good quality, we'll see how fitment is. Excuse the partially finished house with mismatched furniture

It is not miss matched it is art deco. All of the best designers are doing it. Btw the bumper looks to be great quality. Where did it come from? My bumper is cracked bad. I also need the rear bumper cover it is atrocious too.
