he actually didnt spend a lot at all... he worked on the entire thing himself. and he waited to find a wrecked prelude... he took his time the whole way... and he didnt really spend much money at all.. just a ton of his own time.

Go to the thread linked on the first page, but I'll link it here, also:

Notice the date of the thread. He started the build process just over 3 years ago, and just got it finished a few months ago.
Believe me when I tell you, everything about this car is completely real, has been completely thought out, is completely driveable, and looks completely and 100% stock! He drove it from NC to California for the Eibach meet, and on the way through Memphis we met up for a bit. I took a couple shots:

i'm amazed by all of that custom fab work but i really hate the carpeting on the rear engine compartment and dashboard.
however what impresses me the most is the quarter panel molding. i love the wide rims/tires on the back of it.

Yeah Dave wasn't too happy with the carpeting on the engine cover and dashboard ends, either. Those pics were from back in May so I don't know if he's changed anything about that yet or not.

why is it whenever someone repost some ****, everyone gets all crazy, or the few that have seen it get all offensive. Not everyone lives on the internet and see's the same **** you see, and it is not like it's in every place you go so just STFU will you? It's getting fukn annoying as hell, let the people that never seen it before talk about it, and you go crawl into a casket.
With that being said, that is a sick *** setup, where is the owner from?

yeah, i was gonna say.. he had vents on the rear quarters as well as no WW side skirts and had TL wheels.
and all the people that missed it - how could you have!?? LOL his build up has been going for years and he's updated the whole world at every single step

Nice, he even kept cruise control and A/C. Where is the battery? is it behind the spare like the NSX's seeing as that looks like he used the NSX spare setup.

I'm pretty sure it drives perfectly normal, and handles pretty well. From what I remember the weight distribution is around 42/58 F/R, or maybe 44/56.

Go to the thread, it has a VERY useful contents list in the first post. Page 24 shows the battery mount. It's down behind the front bumper on the right side of the car.

Personally I think if your gonna do all that work, just drop a 350 chevy in the front and call it a day, I've seen it done more then once, and it gets them everytime at either dyno day, or the track. when someone pulls up with a sleeper with a 350 blown motor under the hood, and proceeds to school vipers, and when they get to the other end he tells the guys its stock, lol....
