I think the gold would look really good! A lot of people do the black on that color of a car so the gold would be different.
Love how the engine bay looks now! I need to clean mine. lol. But I don't wanna take out my entire motor to clean it...but if I want it as clean as yours I'll probably have to. lol. Looks really good! Keep up the good work!

To your previous post about black with a purple lip for wheels...If you're gonna keep the car that color, I wouldn't go with the purple lip...IMO.

little photo shop
Thanks to the owner.. hope he doesn't mind.lol
If you really want the bay clean.. just cover up the large electical parts.. distributer(i just used plastic bags and tape) etc. a pressure washer would be great but if ya cant get one grab the hose. Rinse it down spray on some engine degreaser.. scrub the areas that really need it and hose down again.. works great..
at a used car lot I worked at we wouldn't cover anything.. let the car run. pressure wash the whole engine with purple power would come out amazing.. and never had a problem with a single car.
Oh the black rims with the purple lip.. prob refered to the other whip..purple 94 ej1 bone stock.

on the dr20s it think the wheels were 15x7+10, the fitment was pretty good, only required mild fender rolling to fit, the sportmaxx were a little more difficult but those are long gone, i think it looks nice to leave the moldings on the car black, but it looks good either way, if you're going to paint them i'd suggest getting jdm thin side moldings

Re: Project "Old Skool" G2 love
thanks for the comments and input....
Ill be posting some updates tomorrow.. picked up a new sunroof and rack, new rear trunk shocks(tired of the vice grips) lol and new window regulators (pass. side shot)
Just about got the engine bay done (light wire tuck, painted flat black)
thanks for the info...I love the low offset look, but I think im just gonna run +38 on the DR's for now. nothing to extreme.
Im with you on the black moldings.. gives it more of that old skool look, which im really shootin' for.
