Default PR4 IM on GSR

Cant you fit the integra 90/91 intake manifold on the gsr motor? so you can fool
people that its an ls. Also would I increse flow or would it be worse.

lol...your block is going to be stammped "b18c or b18c1" if its a stock gsr motor. and even if you somehow fit the valve cover on the head is going to be stampped p72.

yeah but from a quick glense it would look like a LS,

how would it work? would be a downgrade or improvement?

lol, even if you put the intake manifold on your car somehow the valve cover on your car is still going to say "dohc vtec." there is no point honestly unless you upgrade to skunk2 or blox manifolds.

a pr4 or any non gsr intake manifold WILL NOT FIT a GSR head. You've probably have seen GSR's with an aftermarket intake manifold, such as skunk2, blox, jg, aebs, etc, which looks similar to the ITR/b16a/LS intake manifolds. The bolt pattern on the pr4/b16a/itr intake manifold and the bolt pattern on the gsr p72 head is different. You also CAN NOT fit an LS valve cover on any dohc vtec head. The bolt pattern does not line up as well.

Just like everyone said, a LS intake manifold wont fit the gsr head. The most likely solution is that you saw a gsr with an aftermarket IM. Also, there are a billion other ways that people will tell its a gsr (valve cover, vtec solenoid, general head design, stampings, etc). Plus trying to "hide" that its a gsr is pretty stupid, I mean, its not like 170hp is gonna scare people into not racing or something.

this is the stupidest idea ever. you not going to fool anybody, you're going to lose power, and you're going to waste money and time to make your car slower. just stick with an aftermarket manifold, and save yourself the embarassment, some money, and your dyno numbers that are low enough as it is.

keep thinking outside the box. that's how we make progress, but this is just not a good idea at all. try again.

oh, and if you want a fast engine that looks like it's non-vtec, *gasp* make a non-vtec engine fast. hint: p8r

Maybe you saw an old school B16 head w/ the stock IM that looks almost identical to the first gen LSs. My guess is that you didnt see a stock LS IM on a GSR head.....

and I'm letting you know, it is impossible to run a pr4/LS/b16a/ITR intake manifold on a p72 GSR head. The bolt pattern does NOT line up, unless you redrill itand do some custom fab work in the right locations. If you have a GSR and swap to a single stage manifold such as the skunk2/blox/etc., you will be losing power with the stock ecu since its looking for the iabs in the stock gsr IM. Once you run a chipped ecu thats programmed to run the gsr with the single stage runners in the manifold, along with the propper modifications, most see good gains with this upgrade!

cliffnotes... LS/pr4 intake manifold WILL NOT FIT a gsr p72 head!
