shiiiiiiiiiiit...
A 57yr old woman turned left in front of me last Saturday. They towed it and they are supposed to inspect it Monday since they finally accepted liability! I want them to fix it and not total it but it doesn't look good so I've been looking at an rsx type s since there are no good DAs around sadly

they are going to total it, it is not worth fixing this one sorry to say. if you win they will give you value of the car. i had this happen to me i have 00 integra i was able to purchase a newer one 01 and i got to keep the 00 so possibly you can buy another integra and keep your for parts or fix but it looks like it cost to much to fix this one..

That's done forget what happened to the fender(how did it crumple upwards even) there will be sub-frame damage and i'm taking ripped bolts not just bent replaceable parts. Everyone always forgets the fact that not just the component bends but the that much force certainly ripped or bent the large anchor bolts.

It was a newer ford explorer her bumper was over the hood like u can see where the fender is dented near the windshield like for a second I thought her bumper was going to be in my face. And I did lift the hood and the frame is dented in at the corner and the fender bolt holes were ripped like 3 inches long , I have a pic of it somewhere.

Sorry to see this. Where I live in PA, there are no DAs around at all. I probably have the only one in miles. I'd want them to pay you, as well as you keeping the car. The parts are worth keeping since there's not many around here. Good seats alone will bring you more than what they'd probably pay to take the car.

Bro i have seen far worse carnage than that fixed! i mean i cant see the frame rail but theres nothing a good shop cant fix with the proper tools, ive seen smashed frames get pulled with chains on a frame straighting machine back to perfect.
I would make the insurance total it and get as much as you can from them then say you want to buy the car back which should be around like $400 and get the frame fixed and replace the parts and paint.
Got not DA's around theres lots of online sources you can use to find anything you need shipped to your shops door from fenders to the whole damn fron clip.
Got no shop which i hardley doubt send it to LHT performance the only shop i vouch for in CA where theres tons of DA's and have them repair or put a new front clip if you have too and ship it back to you if the car meens so much, my point is you have plent of options and good ones too!
Or best bet take the money buy a newer more reliable car like the Type S and call it a day, maybe one day you find a super clean DA all original and then you can sell your car then and buy a DA again GL.
PS looks just like my Integra when i hit a wall on the track and busted my side and front lower control arm assembly but no frame damge just replaced the fender, front lower control arm assembly fromt the junk yard for $150 and had my GSR blade repaired only had deep scratches/ grind marks and had it fixed like new and i was good to go but what im saying is it could be less damage than you think, pop the hood and post more pics.
