OEM optional lip kit
picked up a set of side skirts, and rear valence. already have the front lip. so i'm ready to install it. It is OEM so it fits good, and is painted black already for me.
side skirts seem pretty easy to install, just remove stock ones and then place the new ones.
the rear valence i heard about drilling so you can put a bolt and nut to hold it down. i'm not sure where to drill...anyone have instructions or how they did it?
i also bought the corolla type S weatherstripping so i'm ready to install.

Search around for the template that shows where to drill. You need to drill two holes on the bottom of the bumper and one on the rear. If you look on the valence the areas where you should drill should be self explanitory.

Look down at post #25

Since I bought my kit used, it didn't come with the OEM two-sided adhesive washer. Instead I used a regular washer and used regular tape on both sides. For the square-head bolt, I bought a regular bolt and grinded the head down to fit.

Re: OEM optional lip kit
thanks u guys are the best
i actually got the skirts installed today. rear valence i forgot to bring the hardware or drill to friends house and he didn't have one so i'll do that another day. i'll make sure to take the tire off to drill. ill print out the template so i can install it properly.
oinly problem i had was the weatherstrip. i got the part number off of team integra and bought 4 2 for each. i put it on and it seems like the 2 for rear valence didn't fit but i'm not sure. i might have to get some more or maybe i misused it. either way its cheap so i'm not worried about getting it again.
i'll get pics of it on the car.

Re: OEM optional lip kit
ok yea i got the right part number. i still have two of the weatherstripping left. but i dont know how you guys made it fit onto the rear valence. the side skirt i had to kinda cut and reshape it to make it fit the bend area.
for the rear valence it seems about an inch short? am i doing something wrong? did u guy have to cut it ? it is suppose to wrap from one end of the rear valence to the other end right?

For each rear valence, one package will work with some left over (a couple of inches). For both skirts, one package will be barely enough. The part number above is what I used.

Re: OEM optional lip kit
yea the one u bought and the one i bought from the part number from the link i posted above is different. the one u had were probably longers. cuz the ones i have even with two packages will be a little too short. maybe about an inch short from each.
i want to install tm but im missing the weatherstrip. kragen didn't have any small weatherstrip like that. i'm going to check out toyota tm to see if they have any kind of weatherstripping like that or i'm gonna have to order and probably wait since they did not have any in stock last time.

Order the above part number and wait. That is exactly what you need. It works perfectly.
