Re: New Ride
Best one you can do is read and see what the majority of the other builds are doing.
I guess I am in a good mood or sick because you should get flamed for asking
other people what they would do to YOUR car.
It is yours do what you want and what you can afford. There are many factors only you can answer. So as I suggested reading and trying to copy other builds that are similar to what you are looking for in your own car.

Nothing wrong with getting peoples opinions on what to do, gives him ideas on where he can start off to maybe create his own style.
Personally id give it a tune-up first, make sure everything is tip top. Then replace everything you need (ie: maybe missing some interior pieces or their cracked?) that way when you start to do things to it, you have a complete car and its already clean. After this id move into suspension and wheels that way it may not be fast but at least when u go to drive it in the mornings youll like it and enjoy driving it. thats just my opinion, besides no point in tearing up a good motor that runs just fine......unless its automatic, then you just need to start sourcing a 5spd swap ASAP lol.

Re: New Ride
Its a good car lol, its 5 speed and as for asking what other people would do to it thats not what im saying? Just asking for opinions were other people would start on theres so that I can find were I want my starting point to be. But as of right now im going to get it painted then find some new leather seats or find someone who does upholstery. I was thinking of doing the rear subframe bar and control arms and then start on the front suspension. Does anyone know of any good kits or places to by piece by piece.

Re: New Ride
Regular tune up stuff, like Cap, rotor, plugs, wires would be a good start. Make sure the car is mechanically sound then move onto other bolt ons.
I/H/E.
I hate straight pipe, and the noise that comes with it. Keep the cat or get a proper high flow.

Re: New Ride
I have a b18a1 in mine right now with a 5 speed tranny. Its all mechanically sound just did the timing belt, tensioner, and water pump. Also the cam seals and valve cover seals. What bolt ons could I get that I would see more power with?

Re: New Ride
I/H/E , b16 tranny, lightened flywheel, stage 1 clutch these simple mods should get your LS up and moving.BY no means is it gonna be fast but it should be a pretty quick DD.
