Default new dizzy, starter, map sensor etc, but still no start

Heres the deal my nephew just purchased a 92 integra it was in bad shape. The guy we got it off of had just been in an accident and the passenger side front end(bumper, hood, fender, radiator support) had been totalled but the engine and all components are in great shape. It wouldnt crank at first, just click so i purchased a starter, then it started to crank but no spark skipped the whole buy part by part so i just went and bought a brand new distributor. Now it cranks, sparks but doesnt start.
The car has gas has oil has all the fluids but it still wont start. Now the last thing i tried was to read the ecu. Funny thing is when i do the pin trick all it does is stay on abs light dont flash or nothing it just stays on. people said it may be its a bad ecu so i tried mine from a 93 integra and it does the same thing ..heres the deal

its a 92 integra b20 engine.. the distributor was bought off this cat who said it came off a b20 engine. could the dizzy be wrong??

any replies would be greatly appreciated.

could be....the dizzy should be marked with a code to tell you what it came off of

as long as the dizzy its the correct obd series it dont matter , all B dizzys work as long as the OBD is correct ,for example i have a LS dizzy on my Vtec head i just had to chop a ear off haha but it still works perfect . so either check all the grounds , or it could be your main relay . when you turn the key to accessory the engine light should go off . if the engine light dosent go off with the key turned to accessory that means the main relay is no good .

I am confused

at the start of the thread you say it will crank but here you say it doesnt turn

which is it?

How have you verified spark?
Are your plugs gooped up?

GLOSSARY:
Crank............. starter turning engine over, occurs b4 starting or w/o starting

Start..............Cylinders are firing, fuel burning, engine running

Turn...............??????????

its cranks but it doesnt start, my bad when i meant turn i meant turn on..without the on part. ..anyways..the spark plugs are bad but each one is showing spark when i take one out test it it has spark... in other words it sounds like its gonna start but it just doesnt.

does the led on the ecu show any codes

how have you tested it for spark? be more specific. pull one of the wires off of a plug and hold it in a way so that the spark will go to a good known ground. then have someone crank the engine. you should hear/see the spark. if spark is there, put a fuel pressure gauge on and check your fuel pressure with spec for your car. does fuel pump turn on? do you have compression?
fuel, spark, compression need to be verified completely before you can move on

is there a little sight glass on the ecu? count the number and duration of the flashes, if there is no sight glass count number and duration of check engine light flashes

You also might want to try checking your fuses under the hood, especially since it was in an accident.

I tried all that already..

Pulled all the plugs one by one and theres spark.. The fuel pump works, you can smell the gas, as for the ecu i tried but all it does is stay on...a friend told me its a bad ecu is it a big difference between a b20 engine ecu to a b18 ecu..non vtec..

I tried all of the above and im good to go. Thats the reason for this thread i dont understand ive done all the normal ill post

new dizzy
starter
plugs
wires
fuses are good, some replaced
gas runs good, car has gas also
theres spark when i place a plug to a ground

when i try the ecu trick im looking at the check engine light, to see if it flashes is that right or wrong..ive done it before and ive fixed cars but this da is giving me a run for my money .

look at the led in the center of the ecu
under the passenger carpet

turn the car to acc or run, and the led will blink any codes
in normal operation the led should come on for about a sec when first energized by the key
if no codes are stored then the led simply turns off, otherwise it will start blinking the code patterns
no jumpers are needed, and it has nothing to do with the dash light
this car does not have that kind of obd

could possibly be the ground wire connecting your tranny to the chassis or timing is off or spark plug wires put in wrong firing direction from dizzy.

the car is obd1 so yes crossing the 2 wires on the passenger side will cause the engine light to flash code . theres only led's on obd0 ecus . the plug wire firing order is in this order if looking at the dizzy from pass fender looking directly at the dizzy
vvvvv
3 4
1 2
^^firing order

cylinder 4 is the one on the far left on the VC lol when looking at the engine lol alot of people think its 1234 when looking at the motor when its 4321 , sorry if you knew this just trying to list all possiabiltys that i see commonly messed up

also MAKE SURE the timing belt didnt jump a tooth when it got hit !!!!!check the ground wire that grounds to the thermo housing the ground wire is actually built in the harness and bolts to the T housing , then make sure theres a ground from the tranny to the body and the last engine ground should come from the VC to body .also theres somtimes a ground from the altenator bracket to chassis . also try a different battery . i had one car that would crank but the battery didnt have enough juice to actually fire the car . and i still say to swap out a main relay from the integra you tryed the ecu from in the car that wont run "JUST TO RULE IT OUT AS BEING GOOD". if you have spark gas and fuel like you say , it has to be a ground , bad ecu or main relay or engine bay relay . theres nothing else that deals with the cars firing system .

if you check everything i listed there should be zero reason the car wont start if it ACTUALLY does have compression ,fuel, spark again sorry if i just repeated everything you have already tryed lol just trying to give you anything i can think of man . goodluck let us know your progress and let me know your finds from everything i just wrote

turbo97coupe is absolutely correct. check what he has listed and your **** should run. do work.

p.s. just because your battery passes volt wise does'nt mean it has enough cca to start the car.

cca=cold cranking amps

aight so i did what turbo said and asembled the dizzy correctly and it cranks but it wont start over still then i had another so called mechanic come and check the timing he said its all timed correctly, the ecu part has no led next to it...from what i know i went off the check light in the dash..but again no codes or anything..all it does is turn on then off.. as for when i do the pin it just stays on and dont flash any codes...

now im gonna do one well two more things and thats either buy a new dizzy (anyone know of any suggestions where to buy one in the 909 area???) and last is replace the main relay..

if you can respond asap to the dizzy information on where to buy on i would appreciate it...thanks..

try the main system relay, sometimes it wont allow power to the injectors. you'll have fuel pressure. check for power and ground at the injectors while cranking. (this can be done with a 194 light bulb by moving the wires down and plugging into the injector clip). you now have a noid light. the light should FLASH when cranking. usually a code will be set if the injectors are not firing though

another thing i just thought of. check the ecu code on the top and make sure it is correct. also, then open it up to see if someone tampered with it. i just went through a massive headache with the integra i just got because it was running very rich. after playing with the sensors and tracing wiring and mass amounts of testing there is an ebay chip in the ecu which was my problem.
