Need to replace axles -- any recommendations?
Hi all,
Just had my alignment done and they recommended I replace both front and passenger side. My problem is they want to charge $110 for the part and $110 for labor and I just don't want to pay that money. I have the tools and feel comfortable working on my car but I haven't been able to find a reputable place that sells NEW axles. So many people have complained about reman'd axles and that's all I see at my local shops.
Also, if I replace these I'll likely have to do them one at a time but would that be a bad idea? Should I just get them both done at the same time?
Can anyone suggest a brand and place to purchase these parts?
Also, my Integra is just my daily beater. I'm not interested in going too crazy and modding it or anything but I would like to see about making the steering feel a bit tighter. As it is it feels like I'm driving a boat around.
