The DC headers are cheap, if you want a header that will give you some power go with an SMSP, Rage, Hytec, etc.

K20 or nitrous or turbo. Dont go LSV its a waste of your time and money, considering your car knowladge you would have to have someone else build the motor so the motor itself is going to easily set you back 5-6k.

how much hp will that make??</TD></TR></TABLE>
around 175-180whp, but keep in mind its alot cheaper and more reliable than a halfassed motor like a crvtec or lsvtec and i don't want to hear **** about it form ppl who like it...cuz i don't

I think just a block is more halfassed than a complete motor, but thats just my opinion.

just because you don't like lsv doesn't mean it isn't a good thing, you might have had problems with it, but I know plenty of people who are running it and not having any problems, some with a few. You have problems in every area, but not everyone has those problems.

o so you have an LS right now? ditch the gsr swap and booost the damn thing. 4-5k is plenty for a good setup and if it blows you still have money to get another LS

does he have a hatch, coupe, 4dr? and how much power does he make
built and tuned properly you can squeeze a good 300whp out of an internally stock LS. if i were to choose any B series motor to boost on stock internals, it would be an LS. built i would definitely want the vtec head though.

my friend actually swapped a K20 into his EK hatch for $4,000. Dont listen to what everyone tells you about the K series. Most people think its just a huge list of parts that is nearly impossible to accumulate.
no motor runs reliably when put on juice. nitrous is a terrible substitute for horsepower in my opinion. spend the few extra bucks to boost it. becase your next motor after you blow it sky high combined with the cost of the nitrous kit will cost much more than the turbo kit.
buy decent turbo parts off of ebay if you have a low budget. have some one who knows what parts you need to help peice the kit or buy a prefabbed one from a trusted name.
you'll be much more satisfied with boost. 1 of my 2 on going projects is boosting my EG SI hatch. The motor was swapped to a D15B7 before I bought it. I paid a friend 50$ for his D15B8 block complete with head. My turbo set up is going to cost me around $1,000 with a chipped ECU, street tunes (i have experience), larger injectors, intercooler, turbo, vacuum lines, manual boost controller, waste gate, intercooler piping, manifold and other misc. needed parts. I hope to push around 300whp. Not bad for such a small budget.
