need u guys opinions
i currently have these wheels/ falken fk451 on my car ( car came w/ em)

some guy in my area wants to trade some 99-00 civic si wheels w/ hankook ventus tires for my 18s. i told him id need 200 cash on top of that. shuld u jus trade strait up? i think a white teg would look better w/ si wheels than 18s . well let me know wat u guys think. i dont want 18s bcuz they are just too big for my car, as well as i work @ ski mountain and i cant drive to work cuz of my huge *** rims

i promise your teg WILL look sooooo much better with SI wheels. I had them on my gsr for awhile, not too bad at all. a lot better to have oem honda than some gay 18's. IMHO

i agree smaller wheels would look better.....but dont let that jade the fact that you have expensive wheels on your car and it would be a steal for the si trader to get those straight up....hell if i was the si guy...i would trade straight up...sell those bitches buy some si wheels back and have good cash left over...

do whatever it takes to get those 18's off...even if you gotta ride steelies.im with the OEM look over aftermarket anyday,(except sw388's) aka..or.slipstreams

Agreed...ditch the 18'a in favor of a 15 or 16. Ride will be better and acceleration will be better.

those 18's dont look too bad, but there huge. Just sell them and i'm sure you'll be able to get more $500. Ask that dude si+ $300 cash. As stated if both your 18's and the Si's are mint with good rubber.

yeah... do it if you get money on top... u can get mint si's w/ tires for only like $350-400... those 18s look ugly on the car, but lets not forget those babies are worth a lot... da bigger da rims da more expensive they get... try to get money with da trade... and get 16s and get it lowered

Id do it, Post more pics of you car so you can get a better answer. Also if the rest of your car looks like the wheels on it right now, keep them on, it will look hella rice.

youd also be foolish when you could make a lot of money in the process and put that money to something useful...

whether or not theyre ugly doesnt jade the fact they are worth a shitload more

the car actually has a decent susp. setup ( bought the car from a car mechanic) it has eibach sportlines+ skunk 2 camber kit+ lower tie bar+ type r (ripoff) strut bar. its not that i dont like the 18s, they actually look decent on the car ( most honda/acuras w 17s/18s look like fugly 4x4s IMO) its just that i work @ a ski mountain so id like to be able to drive to work without having to worry about ****** up my expensive rims. also the combination of 35 series tires+ possibly blown stock shocks/ lowering springs makes the car HELLA bouncy here in orygun where the roads are crap, if i keep my rear tires @ more than 25 psi i literally look like i have hydraulics. plans for this car are in order:
switch to oem 15s or 16x7 spoon knockoffs
kyb agx shocks to get rid of the bouncin all over the freeway
get new + fender+ door+ maaco paint job
ditch my POS ractive intake ( homie sellin me an AEM SRI

long term plans: lsvtec, oem sides, jus gonna make it cleaner+ less ricey

i wuld post more pics but last time i did that i got ruthlessly flamed+ banned for my halo headlights, 18s, red honda emblems, etc.
i guess i am just an OG ricer ( think 18s, red emblems, halos) instead of a JDM ricer ( think rotas, front lip, shaved emblems) like most of the kids on this board

well thanx 4 the input guys, trying to derice my ride ( long story, bunch of local mustang/camaro guys posted a link to my myspace page on EVERY internet forum, including this one, ls1tech.com, laughatrice.com, medfordtuners.com, now i get literally dozens of hate mails a day from ppl threatening me/ my car, jus worried about someone fuking up my car, this happened to my old EG some hater kicked the r33 bodykit)
