alright guys.. i wanna thank you in advance... i had the teg sitting for 6 months.. winter..plus school... now that i wanna turn the car on it wont..
i charged the battery with a battery charger..left it for 5 hrs as instructed...once it was done...the car didnt come on AT ALL....
then i tried to jump start the car.. this time the car came on but didnt start...it kept making the noise like it was going to start but didnt.....
i then checked the fuses.. underneath the drivers side and under the hood by the battery... and all of them are fine none of them are burnt...
it is dark so i left the big things for tomorrow morning.. can anybody give me pointers as to what might be the prob...

Is the starter engaging and the motor just spiining and not starting or does the starter just make clicking noises?

yeah they are both spinning and not starting.. there is no clicking noise that i can hear...

I would look into the ignition coil. It's $60 at the auto parts store.

It's in the distributor.

what exactly do u mean cuz it does turn, when i turn the car on.. could the spark plugs be the issue by any chance?

check how many amps are on the battery using a multi-meter. it should be around 12+ amps to start the car. Any lower it will not start or have a hard time starting.

I am almost positive it is the battery if the engine sounds really low when turning over. Could be fully drained.

If it was the coil, it won't start, but it will have a healthy sound turning over.

thats the one thing i forgot to mention .... the voltage when charging the battery with the battery charger it switches between 8 amps to 12 amps... with the battery charger... could that b the problem... then could it b just the battery eventho i let it charged for like 5 hrs... as instructed... btw.. when i did charged teh battery.. i removed the negative cable from the battery leaving only the positive cable.

Have the battery checked for one. An engine takes about 9.6 Volts at bare min to start a car. It is possibly that you have a dead cell. If those check out good then come back to us.

If your car crank but don't start, maybe there's not enough voltage on battery but if you jump started it, it should be ok. The first thing to check is to make sure if you have spark, and if you got fuel.

Maybe your Fuel pump went or something else with air/fuel delivery?

well guys... i tried to jump start the car and nothing.. i havent gotten the battery checked.. but my buddy is coming by tonight to see whats going on.. i should keep u guys posted.. thanks again.

Well when your buddy comes over there just remember to start with the basics before you start throwin parts on the car. A motor needs 4 things to run. Spark, Fuel, Air, and Timing. Check all those things if the mootor turns over and wont start. If your missing one of those things let us know so we can help u.

well he did come and nothing... so i gave up and towed the teg and sent it to the mechanic to have him fix it.. i cant go on without my baby lol thanks anyways guys..
