I just had a fun little encounter. JUST now too. Literally 10 minutes ago.

I went to my aunt's house to pick something up. I started my car and saw black smoke come out of my exhaust. I was like... WTF?! I checked my Cluster and no CEL. Turned the car off. Then started her back up. It was ok. (Still confused what the hell that black smoke was... if anyone has an explanation, LMK)

Still I was worried so I took my car out to a deserted strip 3 minutes from my house and redlined my car a couple times to see if it was alright. Ran like a champ. Then 2 guys come and asks if I want to race. Haha.. A Civic and a PT Cruiser Turbo.


I was like... "Sure... why not? I was bored anyways..."

So we lined up... count of three, we were off.

DAMN TIRES! My tires were screaming for traction. But WTF??? Where were they?? I looked back and they were at least 10-15 cars back by the top of my 3rd gear. Hahaha... What losers. Then they ask me to race again. So we did. Same outcome. 10-15 cars.

Then I knew if I had stayed longer, there would be trouble. (My car is loud as fawk, so the cops can hear it if they're near by)

Here's our conversation after the 2 races:


Them: DAAAMN dawg! Your **** gots HEAT! What's that **** got??
Me: Stock LS with OEM kit and Type-R spoiler with Exhaust only.
Them: WTF? That's crazy!
Me: Naw... it's slow.
Them: Let's race again!
Me: WTF? Naw... why don't you guys race each other...
Them: Aite!


So they take off and line up at the top. While they're lining up, I park my car behind the bushes far away from them with the lights off. (I was bored... so I wanted to see the race )

Anyways... they're lining up, and what do I see? 2-3 Cop cars comming in where we were!!! They pass me right up because I had my lights off and I was behind the bushes. I was like... Oh shiet! So i turned my car on and slowly went out and came home safely... I have no idea what happened to them.


at least it was alot more fun than my LOOONG boring day...

Nope. Have yet to take it to the track. I still need to get more stuff and Dyno tuned. Then i'll be at the 1/4 track.


As for me being lucky... oh yes. I was VERY lucky...

hm.. just for the sake of story telling let me share my night. threw a surprise party at the peacock suites in anaheim for a young friend that just turned 21. long story short we were too loud, had one warning previously so we got kicked out. All but 6 people could stay which was the max for the room (but we had plenty more)

few of my friends and I parked across from the hotel in the boogie (club) parking lot. we decide to walk around and check things out. as people were leaving this one guy steps out of the car and fronts some other guy.. next thing you know they are on the ground brawling, both of them are drunk.. punches were like slow motion... the gf of the guy who was getting beat was kicking the other guy in the *** yelling "GET OFF YOU MOTHER F###ER!" security finally gets the 2 apart. it ends up that the guy who got beaten lost his ride, his gf just took off. lol it was a weird night. banging girls @ the boogie! it was packed like peanut butter on jelly.

I would have done the same.IMO with 10 tegs a day being stolen you never want people to know what you really have.They tell there friends,then they tell there friends,now you have little stunnas tryin to rob your ride.

That story was a trip man. I think everyone's had their own encounters with that sort of crowd..... What's funny is I bet those kids are on some board like super honda or what not posting about how they got beat by a stock LS WTF. I would have said the same thing too.
