u still haven't mentioned if you have an aftermarket alarm system or not...
an aftermarket alarm with starter disable will tap into your ignition harness
and could cause the same problems you are having if it is faulty or if wires were not permanently soldered...

You guys are great... I've been reading eveyones replies through email notifications on my blackberry.
Here's an update guys:
1. My key chain... lol, it was huge.. and heavy. The technician said this what may have started it.
If it were the main relay, the lights wont come back.
I've drove for three days with just the key, no problems. But then, last night.. it happened again. Shut off.
I've ordered a new a rear ignition switch, which is electrical part behind the key cylinder. I'll post the part number as soon as I recieve it.
**Long live Honda-Tech!
*Notes:
I have an aftermarket alarm; Clifford
I have an OEM S2000 Start Button
I have a AEM CAI w/ no Bypass Valve
Funny you guys brought up fuel, the problem did arise the week we had a gas shortage here in Toronto and I use to run very low on entry level gas (89 octane) for a few weeks. But i doubt that has anything to do with it, we'll have to see.
I hope to have this problem solved after buying this ignition part, as its really frustrating and dangerous. I was in the highway, 140km/hr and it shut off.. and the steering wheel locked. I had to reset the ignition while coasting in the middle lane. James Bond scene. Happened twice. Oh, and once infront of a club, I had to get with my white suite and reset the battery infront of the bouncers. Very akward.
lol

steering should never lock in the ACC position, are you sure it locked up, or were your arms just tense?
also the gas thing, just b/c of what gas you use will not make the car shut off, BUT gsr's are suppose to have the higher grade gas, (if i remember correct) it says premium only. it is not going run as smooth but should not shut off (unless u detonate it/ dont do that)
good luck, should be fixed after u get that harness in.

your s2k switch and clifford alarm are both wired to your ignition switch..
depending whether or not your new switch comes with a wiring harness, chances are you are going to have to tap into the same wires to reinstall your s2k starter and clifford alarm...
before you install the new switch, you should go over your wiring. all wires that are tapped into your ignition harness SHOULD be soldered to avoid intermittent electrical problems....
if i were you while your waiting for the part... i'd try to isolate the problem first... start by disconnecting the alarm wires to the ignition and see if it reoccurs..
if it does leave it disconnected and disconnect the s2k button... if it does then install the switch... but to each his own

Re: (dud)
the new ignition switch will come with a new harness. the wires are soldered on to the back of the switch. it will come with a harness that is about 18" long that will have a plug on the end which will plug into the fusebox. your alarm and s2k button will be disconnected and will have to be reconnected to the new harness (dud ).
