Modding options
Hey guys, I'm planning to buy a da9 gsr. I want to stay N/A and make 170-180hp if possible. My budget is $6,000 excluding the car. What are some engine internals to boost power? Yes I know I'm a noob

Rather than **** your money away on a car that isn't going to be worth anything, save that money and buy a new car in a few years...or save it for college. While going to college, i built and boosted my GSR. I spent about $20,000 on the car after everything...sold it for $8000 in May and bought an STi. If i hadn't spent all my money goofing around with the GSR, I could have paid cash for my STi rather than taking a loan. Take advantage of living at home and stockpile cash while you can

Sound advice, let's hope it does not fell on deaf ears (I think it's fare to say that many of us were that way at some point in our lives.)

Lets be honest. With the Integra slowly dying, and you having a good amount saved up. Get something better. Go STi or Evo if you want massive power. I Personally would go with a older S4.

I personally aren't going for power. Power is great don't get me wrong, but I'm going for a grocery getter. I know I could get some evo or sti, but I want a honda even more

You think that until you drive one...then you can't go backward. Its like going from a Razr to a Galaxy S3/iPhone5. At first, you may not see the upgrade as worthwhile, but once you have the better version, its impossible to go back. My GSR made nearly 400whp and ran mid 11's but my slower STi is much easier to drive, much more comfortable, looks nicer, and most importantly, takes corners 1000x better than any Honda i've ever driven (S2000 included). Its my DD grocery-getter...and it goes just as fast on snow as on pavement which is something my GSR could never do. Gotta love throwin rooster tails of snow when you haul off a stop light
