Re: (FlatBlackTeg)
if you get another ls motor just give it some boost, just tune it right and dont beat on it all the time and you will be ok. you will regret getting a b16 on a DA.

because it produces like 10 lbs of torque...dont be ridiculous...get a 1.8lt engine..honda engines are already torqueless why get the most retarded of the retards??

Re: (Taristin)
you have ANY experience with what youre saying??? cause i dont think you do...have you EVER driven a b16 DC? I dont mean to be harsh but youre clearly a moron...the SI makes 160hp and has SUPER TIGHT gearing compared to an LS...yet they run similar times...put a b16 tranny on an LS...it WILL **** ALL OVER AN SI..how do i know?? I USED TO OWN ONE...so please unless you have experience in what youre saying...just leave this thread
PS: if 200cc made no difference why do ppl bore to 2.0 or swap in b20's???
Point in Case: SI lighter car, better gearing, more hp....yet is equal to an ls...torque matters...whether you believe so or not

Now you're talking trannies. That's not what you said originally at all. But whatever. You know best. I'm a moron. You're the winner of the internets.

Re: (Taristin)
im not talking trannies im talking torque of the engine....youre a moron...
b16 engine and b18 engine given same transmissions (ITS IMPORTANT THAT THEY ARE GIVEN SAME TRANSMISSIONS BECAUSE TRANSMISSIONS MULTIPLY TORQUE) a b18 will walk all over the b16 given that 200cc extra displacement DESPITE its 20 hp deficit...and like i said before a 99si and an ls are even matches given the b16 DOES have the greater torque multiplier (b16 transmission) and 20 more hp AND is in a lighter car...stop posting now

Re: (Taristin)
i drive a ls integ and my gf is driving an EK LS vtec....advise....dont do it...not a good match or combination...better of sticking with GSR or a tYpe R just save up money or unless go all motor b18b1...
bad:
rpm up too 8k
vtec kicks in at 6k so there is only 2k of vtec
leaks oil alot
b16 lower than b18 so i would suggest b18c or c5 u feel me...good luck!
