Re: LS rods on gsr crank?
do you have a GSR block or a LS block? and why do you want to know? If you have a LS block and are trying to increase the compression slightly you can use GSR pistons on LS rods and crank but they have to be machined to fit.

Re: LS rods on gsr crank?
1. the bearing on the LS rods is wider then the GS-R rods.
2. the GS-R uses a oil Sprayer system to spray oil on the bottom of the Piston this lubes the wrist pin cyl walls and cools the piston down. where the LS has a Hole in the Rod Bearing and a Hole in the rod then squirts oil on the cyl wall and relighs on the oil ring to collect oil from the cyl wall to drip on the wrist pin.
and the GS-R (b18c1) crank has a 87.20 mm stroke and the B18A/B crank is 89.00 mm so just a crank swap would drop the compression ratio from 9.6:1 CR with a piston to deck hight of 0.013 to 8.75:1 CR with a Piston to deck hight of 0.049
So if the rods where not as wide as there are you could do it. but i would just get dished piston and keep the LS rods
