ls exhaust on gsr, how long of an extension?

ls exhaust on gsr, how long of an extension?
i just recently purchased an exhaust from an ls for my 98 gsr. I know my B-pipe is too short so i'm just asking how long of an extension will i need? i plan on having the extension piping made with flanges on both sides so i dont have to modify my B-pipe. So how long?
