Default Kuhmo Ecsta 711 vs Hankook Ventus HR2

recently i had the misfortune of running over some nails (came flying from some ******** truck bed, as he didnt close his tailgate)
basically, 2 of my 4 hankook ventus had nails stuck in them. they were clean punctures so they were able to patch them.

my problem is, i plan to get some track time in this summer and fear the tires wont hold up to the abuse i will be putting them through.

money is tight (as the ventus are only 6 months old) and i'm considering just getting a full set of the kuhmo 711. i'll be paying the same price for two ventus as i will be for four 711 . the ventus are $90 CDN each where i live, but only $39 USD each for the 711 through tirerack.com.

which one will offer me better track performance?
should i scrap the ventus or get new replacements and scrap the kuhmo idea?

I have the 711's. I love them. Great for street and mountains runs. But its an H rated only. If u are going to track, H may not be enough for u, but a great tire for daily performance driving
