Default JRSC reliability

I have a 99 gsr. I am thinking of getting a JRSC sometime in the future and I was concerned about its reliability (since my gsr is my daily driver). If I was to get the kit and leave it a 6 psi, would you say it is fairly reliable for daily use? Thanks for the replies.

this topic has been covered a couple times. to what i have read a jrsc is more reliable then turbo. how reliable depends mostly on the maintenance of your car. if you keep your car happy then you shouldnt have any problems with the jrsc, but one terribly wrong move and boooom.... blown engine. but yea the jrsc is pretty reliable in comparison with any other fi setup but its all about the overall care of your car... hth

Put it in, get it tuned correctly and you don't have to worry about it. You have to change the shorter belt every 10k miles, but that only takes 20 minutes. My only complaint is I ate through my tires in a month. Peeling is fun for a while...

got one in my teggy. 8lbs. of boost just by stepping on the pedal ain't bad. with any major mod, just remember to do regular maintenance and keep an eye out on those belts
