this is a post for a friend who had his car stolen today in the early morning. he did the usual start and let warm up for a few minutes. in the time it took to say good by, the car was stolen from his garage. car is white in color on black rotas freshly powdercoated wrapped in fresh rubber 215 50 15 or 16" ill double check..leather interior, ls motor with a cai. body totally stock bumper to bumper.. plate number is 5yyu407. alpine head unit. car was very clean and a manual tranny.. had a camera on the front of house saw a person walk up and help themselfs to his car.. any info will help if you know of where parts or cars location are. no questions asked. also lowered on coilovers..thanks for your help.. and yes there was an alarm, it was disabled and keys with alarm fob were in ignition...

Not that they will actually do anything...but have you reported it stolen to the police? Amazing really, they do nothing but give you **** when you have the car and when it gets stolen they don't give a **** about it.

Wait so he opened his garage, turned it on to do his usual norm of warming it up for a few mins, guessing he went back in the house to gather his things and in that time being a man came up and pulled it straight out of his garage?! Either this guy has been watching him for a while now and learning his routine or it was smarter of bad luck and bad timing that this idiot just passes by when he went it. Anyways sorry for your loss, everyone keep an eye out. I'm in LA and I've helped a couple people find their cars a few days prior to it being stolen. Keep an eye out for Craigslist and on here. sucks bro. the valley is getting worse. i left two years ago and all i been hearing are negative things about home. im from stockton but now im in Louisiana. the import scene here sucks. so the rate of auto theft are very low in my area. i can leave my car unlocked parked outside and nobody would do a thing. but i dont. plus my next door neighbor is a cop. good luck and i hope u guys find it.

That sucks but I see it all the time at convince stores and homes you can't trust people theses days to do that def not in Sacramento too many thug gangbangers looking to get props from there homies. I live 30 miles north of sac so I'll keep my eye out.

just a refresh on whats already done. guys had the same depart time (within 15 minutes) every day he works for the last 2 years. house has surveillance cameras in the front yard. garage open at 6 am - for sake of explanation.. car started- goes inside grabs phone, wallet, etc. doesnt hear car pulling out.. 603 goes to leave, cars gone.

as most of us know- there are those that work hard and accomplish nice things - valuing what they have accomplished.. and then you have the people that walk park n rides checkin for a come-up.. people that drive threw neighborhoods scoping out peoples hard work..

the car was recovered today. less then a few days it was found... amazing!! must have been some real gone in 60 seconds thieves.. cars rims were taken but replaced with steelies and striped of most of the interior. motor, wiring, trany, axles, brakes , suspension, and all glass, and all body panels left undamaged..

yes the police were contacted- yes they had a stereotypical attitude "oh yah another honda/ acura car down the drain" though they found the vehicle, i assume it was due to its parked location and looking suspect with its missing interior.. so they did contact my buddy to inform him they found his car.. was it finger printed? of course not.. do they give a fling f.. doubtful....

my advice --- dont draw attention to yourself when you drive, cockroaches will follow you home.. if you have a follower dont go home, dont go to your girls house.. dont pop your hood every chance you get.. dont warm your car up unless your near it or in it.. be aware of your surroundings .. i cant say this enough to so many of the younger fanatics out there.. STAY LOW KEY - MAKE PEOPLE WONDER WHAT YOU HAVE... QUIT BEING A SHOWOFF.. PEOPLE WILL JACK YOU... sometimes it happens by gun point.. others while in your driveway or garage...

Im currious on how the insurance company will handle this. They (GEICO) tend to get shady when Hondas are stolen and they have to pay up.

I swear i saw it drive thru live oak that day it was stolen, I work at a furniture store on hwy 99, forgot to post about it since I was working......glad to hear it was recovered....

I want to design a system that when the alarm is activated anyone touching car will get a jolt of electricity so you come out and the theif is laying on the ground passed out lol
