Ok so i installed my new skunk 2 intake mani today on my 1990 teg ls.....and when i turn the ignition and the fuel pump kicks on the injectors spit gas out of the top of them (near the fuel rail)....any ideas why? the o-rings on the bottom where they snap in to the manifold are brand new...but the gas is out of the top...any help guys?? thanks

Sounds like the O rings by the fuel rail are bad.

i checked them and they looked ok...anything else anyone can think of to check...

make sure the injectors are seated correctly on the intake manifold. if they are tweaked just a little bit they'll leak.

i never had any problems with my skunk2 manifold

wrong fuel rail (holes too big)? worn o-rings? improper installation? there's not that many possibilities.

i would go with worn o rings as you may have looked at them and they may look fine they can be worn out from getting warm the cooling will cause the to ware but look fine as in no cracks in the ring but it will not have the elasticty it should thus not makeing a good seal

thanks everyone illl try that today...but that seems weird....cuz i had no prolbems before...then i installed new im...and now spitting gas??? could i have ruined the o-rings while doing the change??

ttt.......injectores wherent taken off fuel rail when putting in the im.....

not be a smart *** or anything then how do you know the o rings are good up there if you did not take them off the rail also just because you did not remove them does not mean they did not wiggle any

but gas spews out of all 4 now....and before i messed with anything there where all good....you know how you clip them down into the im...well the gas comes out of the other side of the injetors....sorry guys im just lookin for the problem...i wanna drive my teg
