Wow, it's been awhile. Been busy as hell. Got another new job, haha
But i've also been working my *** off on the car.
So on with the update!
Started by putting it on jack stands so i could get under the car easier. And so I can fix my rim.
Then after i put the manifold, turbo, and oil lines on. I mocked up the piping.
After that, I set it all in place.
Making the water lines and figuring out where they go.
The water pump, I was wanting to put it in the rear. But, I couldn't figure out a great way to run the lines to there. So for now, the reservoir and pump will be up here. I have separate relays for the fans and the pump as well.
I found an RCI 1 gallon fuel cell for $80 off ebay, and honestly... I cannot believe the quality of this thing!
Making some modifications to fit the radiator for the intercooler.
All done, well at least installing everything. Now I have the task of cleaning up the rats nest. ha but that will be for another day.
I'll update about the downpipe in another post.
Also, i was worried about having the reservoir i the engine bay. And i was going to shield it, but I drove it to the exhaust shop with the hood closed and the intercooler was pretty damn cold.
I am honestly really impressed with this water-to-air kit from Frozenboost.com! Just fantastic and gets me more and more excited to get tuned and see what happens!

So got the downpipe made!
Sitting all pretty, a few blemishes.... lol
oh, helloooooo
Oh, what's happening here?
I have to figure out who to get ahold of some one to make me a 40mm wastgate elbow. For obvious reasons of how close it is to the downpipe. haha I want a screamer pipe so i'm excited.
Oh, so fun fact, the moroso oil pan....
When you put a return line to it, it sticks pretty far out.
Like so far I had to cut a big *** chunk out of my cross member so it didn't break my line.
LIKE. DAM. Thank God i'm getting a traction bar...

Yeah! Actually a big group of us went to facetuned and we're getting a group buy of their traction bars made for us up here in the northwest.
I've been pretty good though, got another new job. This time working at Goodyear. So naturally, I'm loving it lol
How about you?

SO i towed it to down to Richtuned Motorsports, and let me say this...
Rich is a stand up guy! Very knowledgeable guy and friendly and very helpful!
Spent about 3 hours tuning and she held pretty damn good!
280hp and 215tq at 14psi!!!
Runs fast as hell, but I cannot believe how much of an idiot I am....
I guess I didn't think i'd make that much because I completely spaced about the clutch hahaha me being a dumb-*** I guess!
But the bish rips, now I just got to wait for the clutch to get here and do work!
I'll upload the Dyno Sheet tomorrow!

Re: I picked up a new toy, opinions?
Well, here's the Dyno sheet!
Running @ 14psi!
The stage 1 clutch that's in it doesn't like being pushed hard in 3rd/4th/5th gears... haha go figure!
So I ordered a stage 4 Clutch Masters clutch and brand new axles since mine are clicking lol
I don't know if I should get the flywheel resurfaced or not though...
Also got a traction bar installed and I really like how tight the steering feels now!

Honestly, upgrade the suspension and just fix things here and there.
I really want to strip the interior and install my harness bar and get some real seats in it.
Hahaha thanks bud.
Oh for sure, I still have to go through this and edit stuff but i'm enjoying it.
Thanks!
Hahahaha things rips pretty good, I just beat a slightly upgraded SRT4 yesterday doe...
Car is running pretty damn good, no complaints yet!

Re: I picked up a new toy, opinions?
Okay, so since like last august I decided I was going to take off the stupid K-tuned traction bar and go with an explicit speed performance traction bar.
Mainly because of the better quality... oh and the fact that NO MATTER WHAT LOCTITE I USED, THOSE F#$%*!@ BOLTS STILL WALKED OUT.
So yeah, I got really tired of driving for a day and every night get under and tighten the bolts. It got old, really fast.
Going from this:
To This:
Going from those shitty mounting points where the tow hooks used to be to the stock location. PERFECT!
So i ordered ESP's bar and they're made to order, so i had some time 8-10 weeks.
So i figured since I had a bunch of parts ready to put in I would just pull the motor and inspect everything outside and somewhat internally and clean up the engine bay. It'd just make things way easier(and it did)
So my tasks:
Install Lightweight flywheel 11lbs
Install stage 4 clutch(got real tired of slipping)
Inspect Engine
Clean and degrease engine bay
Wire tuck(never again i swear on my life)
Re-route water pump and water tank for intercooler to trunk
Remove unneeded things from engine bay
Random ideas/things to do as well
First things first, put the car on stands and tear the car apart...
Face down *** up!
And a picture of the bay before I tore into it.
After I got somewhat into it
So yeah started pulling things off and got the great idea to do a little at home ceramic coating.
Fun fact, when using your oven inside, make sure your family isn't home and that you have fans circulating air in and out.
Mostly because this **** STINKS THE HOUSE UP! lol
OH OH OH! I ALSO FOUND THESE FOR SALE ON CRAIGSLIST FOR CHEAP!
So rare, and so pristine!
So yeah, thats for the first few months. I'll get back on here tomorrow after work and do another update!
