I JUST GOT MY NEW GSR !!!
hi, i am a college students and i saved up for sooo long.
i get pay 8dollor per hour, doing hard work.
finally! got my integra ! gsr.
it was a 94 gsr, with 190K .. got it for 4K..
i know its a very bad price. but i have been shopping for a black on black gsr for a long while.
i am the 3rd owner.
the 1st owner was a old lady, and the 2nd owner is a 30+ housewife.
i bought it from her. she wouldnt go lower, because it got timing belt, water pump , and brakes, tires and everything changed. she pay more then $800 on those. she have all the records of the car, the original manuel for the car. everything is 100% stock!!
the only thing they didnt change is the clutch. so im very happy with it !
it runs smooth, v-tec kicks in hard. interior rate them 10 out of 10.
and exterior very nice paint ! but have a small little dent
its a very very small one.
no chips at all!!
so now, please! let me know what should i do to this car, to see is everything running right ? because i only drove 10miles on it. what should i check, this few days of me driving it.
im plannig to get a clutch lock and good Security stuff, any good advice!!.
thanks im soo excited that, i hang out inside of the car for a whole hour, looking at everything. !! haha.
i know 4K isnt much, but it meant really much to me.
if something steal my car, i wont even know what to do.
thanks for viewing!
i will have pics up tomorrow !!!

Nice buy! Take care of her. I'm actually not too far from you, out in Palo Alto. And my gf lives in Newark.

Re: I JUST GOT MY NEW GSR !!! (drewsointoyou)
yea i know, but then i havnt have my own car for almost a month and a half now,
im keep on borrowing my uncle's car, and i have to keep picking him up everyday from work, after my long day, because of school and work, and sometimes , i borrow my cousin civic, but then he always take it back after a day or two, and i have to drive 30something miles, back and forward. so then, i just decided to spend a little bit more. but oh well, i loved it !
if it was 3500 i would be MUCH MORE happier haha.

Welcome to the integra club lol..careful of that baby you got right there get a clutch lock, fuel cut off , and an alarm. But most careful were you park at it never know where and when someone might try to jack you. My homie integra got jack in my area even with his alarm they took it two blocks down jack the rims with the rims lock on it. Left the car on bricks and took what ever they can take, sadle the flatbed truck came and drag the **** out of the car to the house and drop it off..
Oh well post some pictures when you can.. id like to see

Re: I JUST GOT MY NEW GSR !!! (ybbo)
I'd recommend getting a few different anti theft devices. Auto lock and alarm is usually a must.... and do a search for "Kill Switch" here on h-t. You'll find some nice pointers as well. The very first thing I recommend you to do is get insurance-Full Coverage! Living in the bay area (i live in Newark), there's still a high demand for our motors/interior/etc. Especially when you start fixing it up.
Next, if your a college student and working really hard for that $8 an hour, I'd recommend looking for another part time job that pays a little more. Just my .02
congrats and welcome to the dc2 family!

Gratz on the new Gisser!
Whenever you are driving home, look in your rearveiw mirror for scumbags. They will follow you to see where you park the car, then come back to take it. If you ever notice bangers following you, just drive on and go get a burger or something, and never boom you music in your own neighborhood.
Install a fuel cut-off switch immediately, then move on to other precautions. Its a sad state of affairs when a guy can't buy a $4K car without constantly worrying that its gonna get jacked. Death to all scumbag theives.

Re: (iheartDc2)
I got the same car man. Just a couple weeks ago. but mine came with Volk Rays TE37 for 700 dollars more and other minor stuff.
Anyway get a pressure check. Take it to a mechanic. They will pump air or something into your radiator to see if there are any leaks.
My car had 208k miles and it leaks a few drops of oil when i park up or down a hill. So you may want to check for that.
Start doing to security stuff like hood cable release relocation and decent alarm system
