lol...29 views and nobody knows how. Darn.

Oil pan is on the driver's side of the downpipe. If I recall correctly, it's a 17mm. Don't know what else to tell ya, it's right there.

What I also do is jack up the car, lower it, jack it up to get maximum drainage. My father used to tilt it side to side (he was really **** about oil and took 2 days to do, sheesh! but, the truck is 15+ years old and still looks better than most trucks )
Oh, and taking out the oilfilter is going to suck! Make sure your eyes and mouth are closed
Have fun

sup tek?

I never have replaced the washer or torqued down the bolt. I think I'll try that next time

If you can get one of those oil filter wrenches that slips over the back end of the filter like a socket instead of the kind that wrap around and squeez tight it will make life alot easier...or well atleast changing your filter easier!

that would require a torque wrench and reading numbers.

I thought when you change your car oil you turn the car over like your lawn mower and drain it out the dip stick hole? ****...i've been doing this the hard way for way too long

One more thing, make sure that when you screw on the new oil filter that the seal is on nice and straight. I did this once and the seal came off center when i was screwing it on. From that angle you cant really see the filter, so i filled her with new oil and started her up so she can get all nice and lubed. When i hear this slushing sound coming from underneath the car. I shut her down and there's motor oil pouring down my driveway. Hmmmm well it was that little seal on the filter not being on nice and straight.

Trajic...

not to be mean or anything, if you cant find it cause you dont no where it is, then i suggest you leave it alone and take it to those 20 mins oil change shops. i hope you didnt mess anything up, and if you changed your oil with flying colors, then COO!
