Default How does this sound like a 3 year modification plan?

Okay guys, well my car is a slow auto pos i have intake and exhaust and it don't make it faster just makes it sound tight lol... well anyways i've been planning and planning and this is what i've decided to do to my car

1. First i alreay have OEM kit (sides and rears here front is on the way) Going to put that on ASAP - price not disclosing
2. Next is Wheels looking at 16" or 17" subzeros... then my looks will be complete nice and clean until i get speed then i can go back - prolly going to cost like 800 w/ tires
3. Then i'm going to save up and buy a transmission swap, i think that having a manual is a definite first if i want my car to be fast in the future. that'll be roughly 1000??
4. Then i'm giong to do my suspension setup... Eibach Springs, Koni Yellows, Mugen Struts and ITR rear sway... roughly 1200... i don't want to upgrade my suspension ever.
5. Next upgrade the internals for turbo, rods etcs i don't know much bout this step prolly spend 500 dollars here.
6. then Of course... TURBO! now i'm going to do turbo right and i've been reading some on turbos and i think 2 years from now i will know a lot haha. I'm estimating bout 3K or 4K probably for Turbo system (Drag III or if they have IV by then) and then a Hondata or some other fuel management system. I don't want to blow my engine but i want to be fast so u i got to push it.
7. Then any extra change i get i can waste on cosmetic goodies like sparco or recaros and a new paint job by that time or even a good sound system.

So for about 10K my car will be fully modified probably running bout 13s or 14s on street tires (based on other people's times)... do y'all think it's worth it? If you were starting from pretty much scratch would u take this route? Should i go all motor after doing tranny swap? will it cost less money for the same hp results?

sounds good.. are you planning to take out a loan or save up a little at a time? if youre looking for a tranny swap, theres a place down the street by my house sells auto-5spd kits http://www.racingworks.com/vtec.html

if you plan on doing this over a longer period of time i would piece together my own custom turbo job, that way youre not shelling out $3k+ at one time for a kit

as far as the engine internal build up goes do what i did, get yourself a used block that you can work on that way when the block is done you minimize the downtime on your car by having a block to drop right in and you can sell your motor and get some money back out of it

buy a lot of your parts off of ebay, you can get good stuff at great prices, ive bought everything so far off ebay and am pretty pleased with the experience
