HOW DO I GET THIS BOLT OUT w/pictures
my motor mount broke on my single cam ZC
i tried a left handed drill but it didnt work. what else can i do!!?
i was able to get the bolt (cicled in blue) out cuz part of it was sticking out. The other bolt (circled in red) broke at the very end so i was unable to get a hold of it.
tried a left handed drill. got about a quarter inch deep. wouldnt budge.

if you have access to a welder you can put a nut over the hole and weld the center to the broken bolt then just put a socket over it and pull it out. thats how i get broken bolts that snap off inside like that

Re: (BILLisCHILL)
ya use a screw extractor, you drill a tiny hole into the broken bolt, then use the reverse drill bit while drilling in the reverse directon and the bolt shud come out, if that doesnt work, drill the hole thru, then get a hammer and a small bit and hit the edges of the broekn bolt and pull the broken pieces of the bolt out

you can also, use a rotary tool, and use a thin disc to cut a slot into it. Then use a flathead to take it out. I did it when a bolt broke off into my head.
dont mind my drawing, it was to show someone how to remove the tops. they were stuck i guess. but you can see it broke off.

oh yea...the bolt was torqued down pretty good before it snapped so what method would be better since it was torqued down?

i bought a set of black & decker screw extractors for 8bucks. and so what i did was drilled a small hole in the center of the bolt. then i tapped the largest screw extractor lightly with a hammer into the small hole i drilled. then i twisted the screw extractor and it broke and now its stuck inside alskjdfl;jdsalkfj
im gona go with welding a nut to it once i get that piece of **** out...

lol, once you drill a small hole into the broken bolt, you first get a screw extractor that fits snug and go in reverse with the drill, you dont hit the drill bit, you just drill a small hole, then go in reverse with the drill and the broken bolt will spin out
