how to change transmission fluid?
I never done it before...does anybody have any idea on how to change it.....I wonder can this task be done at home or does it have to take it to the shop for them to change it....
Couple questions?
How much is the average trasmission fluid change if you bring it to the shop?
How many quart of Transmission fluid does it need?
What a good brand for a transmission fluid for a 94teg with 105k on it?
And by the way if would be awesome if someone got a step by step tutorial on how to change it. It would be great.........Thx in advance

Don't take it to a shop, you'll be wasting your money.
It's around 2 or 3, I forgot off the top of my head, but you can find it if you search.
Use Honda Manual Transmission Fluid or some people say if their tranny is grinding that GM synchromesh friction modified helps to stop the grinds and make it smoother.
I couldn't really tell you in words how to change the fluid because you have to unbolt certain bolts on the tranny that I couldn't really describe without a picture, but if you search, there's a thread with pictures that shows you step by step.

I recently switched over to GM Sychromesh when I started getting a pretty bad grind in 3rd if I was shifting at anything over say 5000rpms. 200 or so miles later, the grind is non existant. I started feeling smoother shifts as soon as I drained and replaced the fluid. My 5th gear used to pop out at random, but thats cleared up too. I'm MORE than happy with it's performance.

To change the tranny fluid...
-jack up the car
-slide drain pan under tranny closer to the passenger wheel
-remove plug with a 3/8 drive rachet, on passenger side
-remove 17mm nut slightly above it
-fill tranny until fluid leaks out of the 17mm hole.
-uses between 2-3L so buy 3 bottles

No its completely different. Since the tranny is on the opposite side of the car in different integras. You know the tranny is on driver side.
