Help my revive my 95' LS pleeeze.
Basically, from light to light it would cut off. It took like 30 minutes to be able to start again. Then it just went bye bye and never started again.
A year and some odd months later I decide I need her back. Also the fact that my MKIV Jetta is fvcked right now.
Cranks forever now but does not want to start.
Could it be dizzy, fuel, spark? I hear could be crank position sensor also?
Where should I start?
Also I hear my fuel pump prime if that means anything.
TIA.

Next make sure that you have spark at all four cylinders. While you are at it swap the plugs.
After you crank it for a bit does it smell like gas out the tail pipe? If not then your fuel pump or injectors may be on the fritz.
If you have fuel and spark then the next thing to check is timing. Position the #1 cylinder at TDC then make sure that your cam gears are both in the "UP" position.
If you are unclear about how to go about these checks do some searching or do yourself a favor and buy a helms service manual.
Good luck.
