help with my plugs!!!! please !!!!!
i got my 95 ls a month ago ...and the guy said the engine had been rebiuilt
i just changed my plugs yesterday ... and the old plugs ... were brown .... ...it looked like they were covered in oil .... but it didnt seem as thick as engine oil....
i dont know what this means ....
i changed the plugwires too ...becuase the ones on there .... were not the right ones .... they did not fit properlly and i was afraid .... water would get in !!
can anyone tell me what this brown liquid is .... and what it means ?!?! .... am i screwed ?!?!?!?

well if it indeed was rebuilt
(I think that i would have asked to see documentation before buying)
Whom ever rebuilt it could have not got the piston ring gaps right (causing oil to blow right by the piston rings and up into the combustion chamber therefore ("oily plugs") and if they are indeed oily it has to be engine oil because there is no other kind of oil in your motor.
And if it was not rebuilt then the piston rings could be fried and cracked. Good luck bro hope i am wrong!!! ( well my buddy sitting right next too me anyway)

i new to all this .... but do u know how much it would cost ....eisther way ...to get this fixed ??? and what is the worst that could happen with all this ???

exessive heat, low or no oil, alot of driving at high rpm's with low or no oil.....
low or no coolant.
as far as cost, not too sure. But ya might wanna get it re-built by someone who knows what they are doing!

i know he had the engine rebuilt cuz he gave me the recipts and i have them somewhere (hopefully)
but thanx for all your help, im gonna take it donw to the local mechanic and have him take a look at it and check if the rings are fried or if its the piston ring gap ??
