Muffler Spitting Out Rusty/Brown Looking Water But Iam Not Loosing Water in Radiator And Doesnt Over Heat, Water And Oil Isnt Mixing, Water Comes Out Muffler Cold Not Hot.......Car Has Been Washed 2 Times But Hasnt Really Been Moved Much Till Today and Was Driven Up & Down The street wen i noticed the problem..

Could just be built up water vapor and/or your exhaust is rusting on the inside. The catalytic converter creates H20 in the exhaust, which is normal. In fact, it's a good sign that it's working well if your exhaust spits out a little water.

well i was thinking the same/people tell me the same but i wnana get ideas....

cause at the beggining it was really my first time moving it..it wuld throw out/spit u can say a good amout of water when reviving it and then after a while driving it back and forth for like 10-15mins it started to decrease on the amout of water spitting/throwing out to the point it was lil drips and maybe onces a while spitting but i turned it off cause i wanan figure out what might be the problem?


do u think its water stuck on the inside of the muffler? or something?

engines produce water, it's part of the combustion process, the brown part is the exhaust rusting from the inside, this is why they rust out

yes brown, and i have a 92 ls..its been sitting, not a daily driver

I highly doubt there's anything seriously wrong. It's been really humid out here in LA, which adds to the exhaust accumulating and spitting water. If you can get under the car, check for rust and holes in the exhaust. Also, you said you washed it, so that would also get water in there. Should be no worries man.

Same Here Bro I have it sitting der maybe now that u move it back and forth it will stop the water throwing....

give me heads up if it stops anytime...

cause mine shoots for about 10-15mins when driving/reviving and then it kinda slows dwn and just spits but a lil bit and yeah

yeah i was thinking the same cause No CEl/Stiill Water In The Radiator/ Oil & water not mixing/leaking, and no over heating maybe it can be water just shitting der in the muffler hopefully its just that....
