I just bought a 99 gsr to dd, of course its been all "jdm faboyed" out. Someone painted the inner high beams with that tacky yellow paint. I would like to remove it, but im not sure what it is or any of that, what is the safest bet to remove and not hurt the housing? Thanks guys.

Use Prep Sol or other auto body cleaner. The paint is uncured and ought to come off easily. Prep Sol won't damage plastic.

Use decal/adhesive remover. I've had good luck with this removing spray paint overspray from windows. Spray it on, let it sit 5 seconds, then just wipe it off with a rag.

OP I strongly suggest you remove the bumper for this task, as to not damage the paint on the bumper.

Actually took the bumper off to install my intercooler and realized it was just a yellow film, like a clean tint tape. Thanks for all the suggestions.
