You can buy a decent GSR for 5 G's and save yourself the rest of the cash. If I had the cash i'd go Type R! If it's for daily driving though I don't know but it's not worth that much. Just keep searching no need to rush into things.

What i'm trying to say is. it's a gsr with 80k. That doesnt make the car worth 10grand. I see 95's with 60k go for 4500. That's just my output. The color and miles is pretty much what your paying for. Buy a clean GSR for 3500 and paint it. it would be mint. as mint as that car that he wants 10g's for.

If mileage is the goal, one should be Civic shopping before Integra shopping, especially with the fact that the GSR requires premium (91 octane).

Yes, that gs-r is overpriced, but damn that color and condition is pretty rare these days. Just keep looking, never rush into buying a car. If you find a Type R for under $15k, you have found yourself a salvaged car(theft recovery), high mileage(130k+), or a b20 vtec swapped(lol i have no idea why they do this!).

one big plus is that color if never painted over it.
but it is not worth it
you crash it you loose, cause you only get KBB on it if it did not get involved in another accident previously.
so take your time and shop around make an offer on the car get carfax at the dealer and work with it.

Re: Is this GSR worth what they're asking for?
I have my Integra insured for more than KBB value. If anything ever happens to it, I will get the stated value on the paperwork, not the current street value. This was done so that the aftermarket equipment is covered by insurance.
I only learned such things can be done after discussing insuring my weekend car as a collectible (no KBB value for a 75 Spitfire anyway).
So, if a car is overpriced, but is worth buying to you anyway, go get it insured for the value you paid as the stated value. Just know that doing so will increase your insurance cost.

lolz that car is mint and the paint looks clean as well.. if your set on getting a gsr id offer them 6k cash and work that. They'll counter with a higher offer and then you just work them down from there. No way is that worth 10k. I got mine for half.

BUt in ITR is going to give great milage as well, and will be just as comfortable to DD... If you can afford an ITR, you'd kick yourself for being a GSR once you learned more about the two.
