Default GSR Blades Specs Request.

Just trying to find out a bit more about the GSR Blades:

1) 15" or 16" Diameter?
2) 5.5" or 6" Wide?
3) Weight in lbs?
4) Recommended Tire Size?

TIA.

As a note...tire size can throw off your speedo a little bit. Don't know if that would be a bother to you but just a heads up.

I'm running 195/50/15 on my SI rims...I'm content.

195/50/15 is a horrible size.

What is the point of running a lower side wall yet keeping the tire the same width. Not to mention it also throws off the speedometer quite a bit.

An ideal size to upgrade to would be 205/50/15, and it will not throw off the speedo either. You get a wider tire, lower profile sidewalls, and looks way way better.

The recommended tire size depends on what car they're mounted on. On an Integra, 195/55-15 or 205/50-15 are best, as noted above. If you put them on a CRX, del sol, or '95 or older Civic, then 195/50-15 is best.

I prefer 195/50-15 on my stock GS-R wheel. I can live with the speedo error. You get an effectively higher final drive ratio, and more wheel well clearance if your car is low.

I have 195/55's on there now and I hate them. They scraped the fenderwell seam on driveway slopes before I banged/flattened the seam to get it out of the way. My 195/50's never scraped or rubbed, ever. And I'm on stock GS-R springs with Koni shocks set to the lowest perch height. You wouldn't think there would be any clearance problems with 195/55 tires but there was.

It's personal preference really. Weigh the pros and cons of each and decide what you want to use.

Since they're smaller than the stock size, they look kinda funny. Also, fuel economy is less. And yes, you'll have speedometer error AND odometer error (it will pile on miles at a slightly higher rate). I've never had any rubbing with 195/55-15 tires (or 205/50-15 tires) on either my GS-R or my Integra Type R. For all these reasons, I would never use undersized tires on either of my Integras, but as you say, ...

195/50/15

195/55/15

205/50/15

Yeah 195/55/15 is huge. I had those before and I took off chunks of my tires.. 205/50/15 is good, but I still rub when I take corners or hit a bump. 195/50/15 is perfect, no rubbing or anything at all. (This is only true if you're tucking tire.)

I'm not even tucking tire (see above) and my 195/55's were rubbing on uneven driveways until I hammered the fenderwell seam flat.
