So let me get this straight... The louder, the better?

Personally, I'd go with the GReddy SP2. Same performance as the GReddy Evo2 just with a different look. It offers a quiet exhaust note at low rpms, but in high rpms, it's a totally different story.

I have an HKS hi power on my 94 LS. Its a great catback i get alot of compliments, and ive had it for over a year and all of the ceramic coating is still on the piping, no rust or wear what so ever. I sounds very very deep for a 1.8L, and it has dual resonators on it.

As far as sound goes, my setup isn't too loud, but i still have a cat, and stock header/intake. I can post pics etc of my car and how the exhaust sits/ looks if ud like.

I have mixed feelings about greddy. IMO their stuff is hit or miss a guy down the street from me had a greddy catback on his is300, but my two friends with an RX7 and EVO 8 have had problems with their greddy stuff.

The SP2 will be quiter than the HKS thats for sure.

^ My brother hasn't had a single problem with his GReddy Evo2. I don't know what in the blue moon you're talking about, it having such problems. I never heard that before.

my friend ordered a greddy catch can for his FD and it was grabage, i would be embarassed to sell a product like that, the thing looked like it was from junk yard and the welds looked like they were JB welded. My friends EVO 8 had a greddy turbo manifold on it, and that cracked. Its cast iron and it just flat out cracked and broke, u get what u pay for. Greddy headers crack all the time too.

But like i said its hit or miss, the guy with the IS300 no problems the guy with the EVO and the cracked manifold he has a greddy catch can and his is fine.

I AM NOT A HATER OF ALL THINGS GREDDY. As a whole trust/greddy i think does not match the quality of HKS or a company like say APEXI for example. But Greddy is normally a way better bang for the buck. HKS high power is the bottom of the barrel hks exhaust, normally HKS cost alot more than greddy and its not really a fair comparison.

Compare a greddy header to a dc sports header and yeah id take the greddy.

i have the greddy sp2 on my da for a year. i like it quiet exhaust when driving normal (stock header and cat) i got it cause a ex-co-worker was selling it for $350 and needed a exhaust asap ! if i have to buy a exhaust i would probably buy rs*r exhaust (might be quieter than the sp2)

they're both really good exhaust systems. really i think it's going to be about looks. what kind of exhaust are you really willing to look every time you see the back of your car? greddy sp2 is more stock looking, and the hks hi power is a can with a "jdm" tilt.

i personally have to hi power and am loving it. the reason.... i got it for really cheap.
