Good brand of oil filter to use?
I just read the "Couldnt remove oil filter, so I left it...." topic, and someone mentioned using a Fram oil fitler, and someone else replied that they are horrible filters. And you can guess that Verb just put a Fram oil filter on his car like two days ago. haha With some synthetic mobil 1 oil. So if Fram is bad, what should I use next time?

Different dealership got different prices...

I've been using STP filters for well over 100K miles now. At 231K miles, my car still does not burn or leak a drop of oil.
And yes it does get run up into VTEC quite regularly.
rigorous maintenance FTW

I use Castrol GTX because Mobil1 was getting kind of expensive. I change at every 2k, so I dont mind using the old fashioned stuff.

Id like to run the s2k filter but going to the dealer is a PITA.
I normally just run purolator pureONE filters. They are great and OTC at any local parts store.

AMSOIL
They recently came out with a filter that lasts as long as their oil (25,000 mi or 1 year)
https://www.amsoil.com/StoreFront/eao.aspx which replaced their old filter that lasted only half that.
I'm a big amsoil fan, keeps my GSR from burning oil.. and its good knowing you don't have to worry about changing your oil for a year or 25,000 miles.
