I recently bought a DB8 that has some random modifications from the previous owner. I noticed some play in the front upper control arm and tracked it to the mount shown in the picture. Does anyone know what these are? At first I thought it was the Ingalls adjustable mount but it isn't adjustable. I need to replace the bushing but this thing is clearly not OEM and the bushing looks different.

A related question is how do you buy the OEM version of this part? Acura only sells the entire upper control arm. When I had a DA I was able to buy just the bushings for this part, but that isn't an option for the DB8.

only option outside of a new camber kit or a new assembly from Honda is the hard-race/ES bushings, skunk2 is the only non-ebay company that makes that mount and they don't sell it separately. Sorry to say but yours looks like the "ebay special" just by looking at the construction of it you can't buy that part for the DC/EG or EK it's like the tps is to the throttle body it's all or nothing.

it's under "upper control arm" but on bushings sites/kits will include the lower ones too use them or don't they're around 40 I think.

Hard Race sells them separately with harder rubber bushings.

I replaced mine with the Hard Race components. I have the stock ones if want to go back to stock. It's really a question of whether the ride height of the car would allow it without negatively affecting camber (no pun intended but I'll take it).

B_Swapped, you said that Skunk2 makes the mount but doesn't sell it separately. Do you mean the mount and bushings come with their upper control arms? I had Skunk2 UCA on my DA and liked them and had considered doing the same thing with the DB8. What is holding me back are these mounts.

What IN_VTEC brought up is my other concern. The car is lowered on Tein springs and is a similar height in the front to my DA which was lowered on Koni/GC. When I first lowered the DA it had obvious negative camber that you could see. I haven't had it aligned yet, but the DB8 front does not have any noticeable negative camber. I'm not sure how it is being compensated for. Maybe these eBay mounts are offset somewhat?

My ideal set-up would be an OEM upper mount with Skunk2 control arms, but the fact I can't get upper mounts from Acura is holding me back. My DA Skunk2 UCA didn't have the upper mount but maybe they do include it for the DC?

Follow-up to my own post. I checked Skunk2's website and supposedly the Pro-Series Plus UCA is the same as the Pro-Series, but includes the upper mount and bushings.

I did find the Skunk2 upper mount (they call it an anchor kit) sold separately here (Skunk2 Pro Series Camber Kit Mounting Anchor Kit; Set of 2 HONDA CIVIC). I sent them an email to confirm that the Pro-Series Plus includes this entire part and not just the bushings. I'll report back here when I get a response.
