Default fpr gauge q

i have a fpr and gauge for my 94 ls. when at idle it is running at 26 psi but when i open up the throttle it moves up to 33 or so. is that right or is something wrong since it jumping like 9 psi.

theres a vacuum line on the top of the fpr that pulls out fuel at idle.. when you open throttle the vac goes away and FP goes up.. to get an acurate reading you disconnect the vac line and thats your actuall FP

The jump of 9psi sounds about right, but your base pressure seems low. Should be more like 35psi/44psi.

yea i had it at like 39 i could smell gas all the time and i blew 2 o rings. i lowered it and i felt a pretty nice hp gain. i also got really shitt gas mileage like 150 on a full tank of gas.

The fpr sounds too low. Better check the helms for some numbers.

set it to 32-34psi with the hose connected.........it should be just fine there......

set it to 32-34psi with the hose connected.........it should be just fine there......
yeah you don't want to run super lean. 26psi is for a car closer to the 87si man hehhe...
