Re: Ferrea valve 6000 series replacement on gsr
Ok checked it all out and nothing still. It sits at 100psi cold start and 80psi warmed up. And when I turn off the car the pressure goes down to 30psi.
Return line wasn't kinked but I did pull it off when the car is shut off to see if fuel coming out the fpr and Yep fuel comes out. But what I did notice was fuel was slowly goin down the return line. Is fuel suppose to slowly go down the return line slowly after car is **** off?
I did not check when the car is on if the fuel is goin down the return line, I will today. How am I suppose to unclogged it if it's in the hardline? I'll also might check my fuel pump too. Cause it kinda does this whining noise like when it's low on battery, but battery is fully charged. Running a 1yr old optima battery.

It's probably unlikely to be a clogged hardline. Did you purchase your fuel pump brand new? What was your reason for changing it in the first place?
High fuel pressure readings are usually caused by a faulty FPR or restriction in the return line. Another possibility is your fuel pump is running at a higher amperage and pumping too much fuel to the rail.

Yes, fuel is supoposed to slowly go down the return line with the vehicle shut off since there is no power to the fuel pump anymore.

So I'll try another fpr and see if that fixes it. Is ther a reason what would cause my fuel pump to run more amperage?

Re: Ferrea valve 6000 series replacement on gsr
Yep the fuel pump was brand new. I replaced the fuel pump cause I wasn't holding fuel pressure when the car was shut off but I found out that it was my aftermarket fpr. So I switched back to the stock Oem fpr and fixed it. So I just left the fuel pump in and it ran fine fuel pressure at 41psi and it held pressure when shut off
So I'll try another fpr and see if that fixes it. Is ther a reason what would cause my fuel pump to run more amperage?

if the fpr is not the problem, it's either the return line or some small debris found its way in the fuel line after the pressure gauge in the process of rebuilding your head. Cant think of any other explanation for it.

Fixed!!!! Had some debris in the fuel line. Fuel pressure is at where it suppose to be. 40psi
Thanks for the help
