Excessive oil leak during winter months??
Ok, so I have the infamous honda leak on my gsr. It's most commonly the cam seal/plug, but I have replaced that 3 times, two oem, and one passwordjdm with the double o-ring. I have also replaced distributor o-ring, spool valve gasket and all but only held for about 2 months then it started leaking again from around the same area. During the winter months, it leaks so much more than it does summer time. Anyone know have some suggestions to why it leaks so much more during winter? And where my real problem could be?

You shouldn't have even posted because your post was useless. I read his post and answered it myself, YES I USED HONDABOND, happy? Anyone else have any other ideas why it would leak more during cold months?

i guess its just how things work. i would say when its cold rubber seals get cold and shrink together and once it gets warmed up by the motor it would crack since thats what happens when you poor hot water onto a frozen window. just my 2cents but i recently just had to replace my oil cooler gasket, cam plug and cam seal but now with everything new i dont see any oil leaks anywhere
