anyone ever buy them? And how did they perform?

Isn't that what forums for? What did you want me to say? OMG I just got my pair from eBay last night and install them, they are mad tite. I love the ultra blue color it puts out. It also adds 10 WHP! I have no experience with eBay HIDs but I have had personal experience with other eBay item. Funny but it's like people say the dealership is too expensive so they won't buy from them and say eBay is too cheap also don't want to buy from them. But you know the boring saying... "you get what you pay for" and "do it right or do it twice" To sum it up... reseach is your best friend. Or should I say "search".

lol i have some from ebay, only certain brands are good, others will pop bulbs 247. ill show you my cut off.. pilot is a good brand btw.
mine is mc coullugh.

best way is
DIY hid though if u have time.

dont ask about the splatters on my garage.. still gotta get those lil kids back.. lol

why are the angel's no good? i had some for my civic and they were great...i bought some hids for my teg and they were great...i dont have pictures because i sold it but they warmed up quick and were very bright...go for it!

dude a bunch of my friends got them for 100 and there just as good as the nice ones. Just be sure you get some plug and play ones.

you can also buy Ferrari's on eBay...... it's not eBay that makes the HID's. however, to answer your question, the cheaper companies making HID's are a waste of money considering they burn out much faster than other's. if you want a cheaper quick fix, than sure, if not, retrofit.

I have some from ebay. they work great. had them for about 5 month with no problems. just be sure to get some well known brand and the shouldn't give u problems. or just get them off here about the same price

DONT GET EM DONT GET EM. there 12$ for a reason. my friend gottem and he got a diffrent type of bulb with a diffrent sticker on it they were bright but u can get the same brightness at a local autozone.

If you want a cheap fix, do a 9005 conversion, I just did it, and it helped quite a bit, surprisingly.
If I were to do HID's, which i may do one day, I would do a retrofit. It's really the only way tohave them looking and performing like they should.

umm....your friend is a dumbass if he thinks he got HID's for 12 bucks. those are probably halogen coloured bulbs.

even the cheapest crappy HID kit on ebay is at least 80-100 bucks.

the hids off ebay arent that bad... ive had them for a few months and no one has complained nor cops have stopped me. Also no one has high beamed me or anything too, so I guess mine doesnt bother the other drivers. ill post some pics when I upload

I have ebay hid's and I love them, I dont remember the sellers name but the ones I purchased were made in germany, the quality is really good and it was easy to install, Ive had them for around 6 months no problems what so ever.

yea i would go for ebay kits...i know bout 8 ppl n we all have different kits from ebay n they all werk great...mine are 6000k n i like it a lot. just aim your headlights correctly...dont listen to ppl who haven't had personal experience.

two ppl i kno got their hids off ebay. they both look sick, the one has an itr w/ stock projectors and it looks awesome, the other is a wrx

see to all you guys talking sh%t on the HID's. The ppl that have them love them, its always the guys who dont that dont like them... I'll take the advice from the guys that got them. Thanks to them guys, i'll probably get some.
