Default E Honda's Official Build Thread

i been slackin on posting my full build but i got a day off finally so i figured id get it done.

my build started a couple months ago and replaced my hatch build cause my poor car was totalled

i HAD a 93 Civic CX 3dr (hatch). it owned it for 8 months, bought it with the 8 valve knockin like a diesel and swapped it with a b20z2

got maybe 2 weeks of fun out of her . on the third week on my way to work i get railed from behind by a s10 doing 80 that wasnt paying attention. after he hits me i pull the car out the road, he folllows behind me and the dumbass rails me again!
well heres the aftermath....

so the ins. co. comes and of course totals it and tells me they are only giving me 500 and i can keep the car........so i taped up the back window, screwed the back bumper on, slapped bandaids all over her, wrote OUCH on my window, and took her out that night for a few last runs.

week later i got a trade offer, my smashed hatch shell and 300$ for my current rott box integra shell

she included a Type-R wing, 99 front bumper, carbon fiber hood w/scoops, 99ls interior, Eibach Ground Control Springs, front Skunk 2 UCAs, drilled/slotted rotors, NRG Quick Release hub, AND ALOT OF RUSTY ****.

while inspecting my b20's internals i noticed a hairline crack in one of the rods. i threw her on craiglist and got a trade offer for a 2nd Gen B16a (p30)

i put bearings in, adjusted the valves, put gasket-kit (minus the headgasket which im kicking myself in the *** for), cleaned her up, sandblasted the valvecover and painted it blood red.

week later i finished painting the engine bay and dropped her in and slapped some debo 16' Enkeis on her

so for a week or i messed with it but could not get the coolant to come out the bleeder. took her for a ride and the headgasket blows without overheating, the retard i got the engine from put the headgasket in wrong...

so for the past week i have ripped out the engine, scrubbed down my engine bay and got it ready to shave/tuck

I can respect a good project like this.

I've been here before myself and now my fiance is forcing me to buy her an integra like mine and do hers.

Def takes time bro, patience and a lot of beers.

thumbs up to your project and I'll follow and offer any help I can.

Id like to always have it the same color but I got a bad habitt of getting bord with the color and re-painting my car constantly so I was thinking gun metal is a pretty neutral color. but at the same time I like having the engine bay match so I might do it and will jus have to re-paint it if I repaint the car
