Quick question regarding door removal...where does the door wiring disconnect? Is it behind the rubber boot that leads behind the fender or in the door itself? Looked in the haynes manual but no pictures of wiring clip. Thx

That's a good question. I might have to replace my door and I was just about to search for this thread. I'm thinking the rubber boot between the fender and the door. I plan on cutting and splicing if I can't find a write up or the connector

That piece of black rubber is the cover for the connector. The connector is on the door side. If you have the door panel off you should be able to see it inside. It's been about 2years since I had a door off my dc but that's what I remember.
