Do all US spec second gen Integras come with those stupid automatic seatbelts?
As topics states, are there any second gen Integras that dont have the automatic seatbelts. I always wear my belt, but I hate the automatic ones.
Thanks

I don't know if the 92-93's had them, if they had driver side airbags then they did not have automatic seatbelts. Automatic seatbelts were the predecessor to the airbag as a supplemental restraint system (SRS).

If I could find a CDM one within a days drive of me in good condition I would snap it up. Are they tough to take out if I switch to a harness?

i love the auto-belt.... dont even think about it. its kinda wierd for passengers sometimes, or if you go to drive another car you forget. the only problem is i dont wear my lap belt cause i forget... unless i'm driving in bad conditions.

How tough is it to remove the auto belts if I switch seats and add harnesses?

i think its illegal to switch seat belts unless they're broken since they are a government certified safty device. i think it would be really tough to do and not worth the time or the money... either live w/ auto-belt or by a canadian DA

my 92 LS has auto belts and i like it. feels like the car is being polite like "here, let me get that for you, just sit back and relax." except when you stopped to hard and it chokes you cuz the belt doesn't unwind. buh.
